Questions
Worth answering before the conversation.
How is Kasoya Health different from a typical doctor's office? +
Kasoya Health currently operates as a direct-access, direct-pay practice: no insurance billing, no memberships, no retainers. Dr. Matuk-Villazon sees a carefully selected panel of patients, allowing each visit to be personal, thorough, and accountable to the patient. Patients have direct access to a physician who knows them. This is medicine practiced with time, depth, and continuity.
Do I need a membership to be seen? +
Not for now. Kasoya Health currently operates on a per-visit basis. There are no memberships, no retainers, and no long-term commitments required. You come to us when your family needs us, nothing more. An annual membership tier opens in 2027.
How much does a consultation cost? +
Kasoya Health operates on an upfront, direct-pay model: no insurance billing and no hidden fees. Current self-pay visits range from $200–$400 per visit, depending on visit type and complexity. Additional in-office services and procedures are quoted before they are performed. We can provide itemized superbills for potential HSA/FSA or out-of-network reimbursement, when applicable.
Do you accept insurance or Medicare? +
No. We do not bill private insurance, Original Medicare, Medicare Advantage, or any Medicare program. Patients are responsible for payment at the time of visit. We can provide itemized superbills for potential HSA/FSA or out-of-network reimbursement, when applicable.
